The resort of Méribel - in the heart of Les Trois Vallées
Méribel is situated 1450 meters above sea level in the heart of “Les Trois Vallées” (Méribel, Courchevel, Ménuires, and Val Thorens). It is the biggest resort of the world with 600 km of trails, 200 ski lifts and about 100 snow-blowers create the perfect skiing conditions.>
Méribel prides itself on possessing excellent private ski courses available for skiers at all levels, cross country skiing zones, 3 parks, a reserved area for snowboarding, and an Olympic park (dating from the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games). The Olympic park contains a skating rink where one can not only ice skate but take part in ice go-carting. Méribel also provides ski and snow bike rentals and offers dog sleigh rides.
